A Traditional World

Traditional + French-Parisian Style……..YES PLEASE!

One of our latest projects we were able to design in a traditional space. We were able to bring traditional back into the home, yet bring it up to modern times!

It was one of our favorite projects to date!

Sitting Room

Before: We turned a simple unused room into a room that guests won’t want to leave!

After: It became a french Parisian hotel-like lobby!

Moving on to their Living Room…

Before: It was a nice space for the family to gather

After:  A Haven to relax in and enjoy!

Next, what we like to call the WINE ROOM!

Before: Again another room that was not used too often that NEEDED to come to life!

After: A wonderful sitting area to enjoy that delicious glass of wine!

And a little entry way love to finish the project…

Before: A very simple and basic foyer, that marble needed to be brought to life!

After: A lovely updated foyer to greet all your guests!

With Love,

5 Ways to Decorate Your Home Elegantly & Casually Using Accessories

5 Ways to Decorate Your Home Elegantly & Casually Using Accessories

Bella B Home has partner with Julie Austin from www.mybedcomforter.com to bring you a fun full blog with great decorating tips!

Decorating a home is a complete art in itself and it often gets a bit tricky if proper planning is not executed. When it comes to home decor; little things matter a lot and you need to take care of minor details so that you should not go overboard with your finances and able to decorate your home as per your desires and as per the seasonal requirements as well.

However, you need to make sure that the stuff you are adding to your home decor should not give it a very overstuffed and gaudy appearance. Spacious and comfy homes always look very appealing and your agenda for decorating your home this year should also be the focused towards these aspects.

Check out these 5 amazing ways to decorate your home that would give it a more elegant and classy outlook.

  1. Small Ornaments:

If you are a collector of decorative items; then you are in for a treat as the choices are unlimited. Over the recent years; small decorative items that can be used as wall hangings have become immensely popular and lot of options are available in the market for the same.

Moreover, you can also opt for animal prints and even traditional or vintage ornaments including antiques decoration.

  1. Wooden Decorations:

When it comes to decorating the patio area or the living room of your home; wooden furniture or accessories are always a good idea to go about. Not only wooden or cane-made chairs and tables look beautiful in the outer balcony of your home; but they also give your home a very casual and roomy ambiance.

Go ahead and buy a pair of nice wooden chairs with a coffee table set and arrange them nicely in your home for a more elegant yet chic look.

  1. Vintage Style Decoration:

Often we find ourselves a bit confused when it comes to decorating our homes with more vintage styled themes. However, they look absolutely beautiful.

From living room to bedroom and even guest room; you can always go for unique vintage themes and patterns and can even choose the color patterns that would give a very classy look.

  1. Plantations:

Adding a touch of green to the overall decoration of your home never goes out of style. The color green is otherwise considered to be a much recommended color by the home décor experts if you are planning to give your home a makeover.

Similarly, you can add a couple of succulent and potted plants nicely arranged in plant holders and can place them on your study table or coffee table. It will definitely enhance the entire outlook of your room without making much effort.

  1. Bookshelves:

If you are thinking of decorating your room by using budget friendly methods; one of the easiest way is to introduce a beautiful and modern book-rack in which you can arrange your favorite books.

You can get these book-racks designed as per your desires and can even paint them with the colors you want. These days, even multi-shaded bookshelves are very much in trend and you can even put different ornamental items on the shelves as well.

Christmas Decorating

It’s the most wonderful time of the year indeed!!!

This is our favorite time of the year. There is nothing like being with family, feeling the love and kindness by saying “happy holidays” to strangers; what could be better!

With the season being here, comes the best part….DECORATING!

Here are a few of our holiday tips for this season:

HOMEGOODS

YES that is 3 carts…..and that was only 1 shopping trip 🙂

NEXT….SILVER and GOLD

Everyone has their own spin on “silver and gold” but these 2 ideas we absolutely loved for adding a dash of glam to a room.

Fireplace that has not been used – we thru in mercury glass tall candle holders, added in battery operated lights, a string branch of silver Christmas balls and gold texture balls, add in a few white flowers to create a lovely area in what would have been just a plain fireplace!

We had some large cabinets to work with in this room, we needed to add dimension and height! At HomeGoods we found boxes that were filled with candy to do the trick! Again, add some lights, candles, large decorative x-mas ornaments, flowers and there you have it!

TABLE SETTING

KEEP IT SIMPLE!! Just do something fun and creative so your guess can use it as a conversation piece!

USE little Statues and Boxes to create a FUN space!

LAST but not least the TREE!

my ONLY advice – make it your OWN!

HAVE FUN and make it a cozy piece of heaven that you want to enjoy all holiday season!

Happy Holidays!!!!

Tips for Fashioning a Chic Home: Luxe Decor

We’re chatting Tips for Fashioning a Chic Home in a Small Dewelling with Luxe Decor on Bella B Home today!

Whether you reside in a downtown condo or nest in the suburbs, there are plenty of ways to create a polished pad when space comes at a premium. For many, a smaller home or apartment is a way to downsize and ditch the clutter and chaos of a sprawling abode.

Whether you want to live more minimally, or you’ve opted for a smaller space to keep your budget in check, here are some tips to turn a modest dwelling into a stylish, uncluttered space.

Many small apartments are similar to studios with a large great room. Encompassing the dining room and family room into one space means that there’s less room for division and more need for flow. Using similar colored beige furnishings in the living room and dining space creates a feeling of synergy and makes a space feel larger. Built-in bench seating adds more character and rustic accents create a cozy and unified space.

An eclectic home feels chic with a few funky design accents. A bar cart takes the place of a large coffee table while a vertical wall bookshelf offers plenty of room for various tomes. Clean and simple white furniture creates a more airy and open vibe while delicate décor like a simple glass bottle and cactus plants add understated flair.

Book lovers need not fear a space-savvy life, as there are plenty of options for creating storage in a smaller home. Built-in bookshelves and ottomans with hidden storage provide plenty of room for collectibles and literary favorites. Adding smaller furniture to a space dominated with storage is always smart. Small round wooden coffee tables and a little chaise sofa provide enough practicality while keeping tiny living quarters free from stuff overload.

An ultra-modern living space is sleek and sophisticated with cool space age furniture and wooden floor storage. An office and living room combo is the perfect way to keep a small apartment from becoming a clutter zone. Adding a corner desk or small workspace table is the ideal option for a less spacious dwelling.

For those questing a clutter free and glamorous living space, nothing is better than a multipurpose room. A large display bookcase doubles as a desk and a movable ottoman creates room for pillows and blankets. Furnishings with unique textures such as velvet and leather add luxury, while decorative accents like a large round mirror and plush shag rug make a modest apartment feel roomy and regal.
